Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ConfigQuote (“the Service”, “the platform”), operated at configquote.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you are using the Service on behalf of a company or organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

The Service

ConfigQuote provides a SaaS platform that enables businesses to create product configurators, generate automated quotes, manage customer enquiries, and send quote notifications. The platform is provided on a subscription basis.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the Service at any time with reasonable notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation.

User Accounts

To use ConfigQuote you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
• Keep your password confidential and not share access credentials with unauthorised parties.
• Notify us immediately at support@configquote.com if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.
• Be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Subscriptions & Billing

Plans & Fees

ConfigQuote is offered on a subscription basis. Current plan pricing is displayed on our Pricing page. All prices are in USD and exclude applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

Payment Processing

Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. By providing payment information you authorise us (via Stripe) to charge the applicable subscription fee on a recurring basis. You must keep your billing information current.

Renewals & Cancellation

• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled beforehand.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time from the Billing page in your workspace. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period — you retain access until then.
• We do not provide refunds for unused portions of a subscription period except where required by law.

Failed Payments

If a payment fails, we will notify you by email. After a grace period, access to the Service may be suspended until payment is resolved. We reserve the right to terminate accounts with persistently outstanding balances.

Taxes

You are responsible for any applicable taxes, levies, or duties imposed by taxing authorities on subscription fees.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use ConfigQuote to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation.
• Transmit spam, unsolicited marketing, or phishing emails through Gmail or SMTP integrations.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other accounts, systems, or networks.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the platform.
• Resell or sublicense access to the Service without our express written consent.
• Use the Service to store or transmit malware or any malicious code.
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any entity.

Violations may result in immediate termination of your account without refund.

Intellectual Property

The ConfigQuote platform, including its design, code, trademarks, and content, is owned by ConfigQuote and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Your data (quotes, products, customers, configurations) remains yours. You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Service during your subscription term for your internal business purposes.

Your Data

You retain full ownership of data you upload or create within ConfigQuote. We process your data as a data processor acting on your instructions, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to store and process any customer data you enter into the platform, including compliance with GDPR or other applicable data protection laws in your jurisdiction.

We recommend exporting your data before closing your account. Upon account termination, your workspace data is deleted within 30 days.

Third-Party Services

ConfigQuote integrates with third-party services including Google (Gmail OAuth) and Stripe (payments). Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies:

We are not responsible for the practices or content of third-party services.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any information on the platform.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ConfigQuote and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with:

• Your use of or inability to use the Service
• Unauthorised access to or alteration of your data
• Any third-party content or conduct
• Any bugs, errors, or inaccuracies in the platform

Our aggregate liability to you for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the total subscription fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ConfigQuote and its affiliates, officers, agents, employees, and partners from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

Termination

Either party may terminate the subscription at any time:

• By you — cancel via the Billing page; access continues until the end of the current paid period.
• By us — we may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or fail to pay outstanding fees after reasonable notice.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive (including intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limitations, and indemnification) shall survive termination.

Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be subject to binding arbitration or the courts of competent jurisdiction.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. We will provide at least 14 days’ notice of material changes via email or in-app notification before the new terms take effect. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
